On September 17, 2022, the second Council meeting of the Lions Club of Shenzhen, China 2022-2023 was held at Antia Meilan Hotel, Bao ‘an District. The meeting deliberated and approved the Resolution on Bidding for the 20th Anniversary Celebration, 2021-2022 Tribute and 2022-2023 Inauguration Ceremony of Lions Club of China Shenzhen, the explanation of bidding for large event venues and dining in the Bidding Management Measures of Lions Club of China Shenzhen, the list of new members, and the resolution on the second phase of office maintenance and renovation They also briefed on the anti-epidemic work of the Hainan Representative Office of the China Lions Federation, the implementation of funds from July to August 2022, and the collection of dues.
The meeting was attended by 35 members of Lions Club of Shenzhen China, including President Peng Dao-jian, last president Guo Yongyong, first Vice President Nie Xiangdong, second Vice president Tan Fei, Secretary General Zhou Wenpei, Chief Financial Officer Xu Qiubin, Chief Provost Chen Xusheng, Chief Picket Officer Lian Chuhai and Executive Deputy Secretary General Yu Xiaoping. Wen Yaoli, Secretary-General of the Board of Supervisors; Li Xiaofeng, Lv Guiqin and Chen Qunhao, supervisors; Huang Weiqiang, Tang Qing and Qian Lin, special assistants of the President of the Board of Supervisors; Ma Huijuan, Director General of the Board of Supervisors attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhou Zhihui, Deputy Secretary-General, and chaired by Wei Xinxin, Chairman of the second division and Wan Xiaoyun, Chairman of the third Division.
In combination with the actual requirements of the lion business and the market, the board of Directors voted to adopt the “On < Bidding Management Measures of Shenzhen Lions Club, China > Explanation on Bidding and Bidding of Venues and Meals for Medium and large Scale Activities”. In the future, venues and meals for the activities of the Lions Club in large scale activities do not need bidding and bidding, but will be arranged by the chairman and executive chairman according to the actual situation and signed for confirmation. Nie Xiangdong, the first Vice President, introduced that in accordance with the Administrative Measures for the Bidding of Lions Club of Shenzhen, China (hereinafter referred to as the Measures), and in combination with the needs of the 20th anniversary celebration of Lions Club of Shenzhen, the 2021-2022 Tribute Fair and the 2022-2023 inauguration ceremony, it has decided to invite bids for the design, stage construction and display board production of the gala. Mr. Nie Xiangdong introduced the list of the first batch of new members. As of September 17, 2022, the office of Lions Club in Shenzhen, China has received a total of 307 application forms from 82 service teams that meet the membership requirements.
Tan Fei, the second Vice president, introduced the revenue budget, expenditure budget, construction content, execution structure and division of labor of the second phase maintenance and repair project of the office. It is hoped that the office environment can be further improved, the overall utilization rate of the office can be increased, and the lion service work between Lion Friends and staff can be facilitated. Tan Fei, the second Vice President, reported the situation of supporting the Hainan Representative Office in the fight against COVID-19. After receiving the Hainan Representative Office’s proposal on assisting the Hainan Representative Office in the fight against COVID-19, the Lions Club of Shenzhen, China acted quickly and donated nearly 200,000 yuan worth of aid materials to Longhua District, Meilan District, Qiongshan District and Xiuying District of Haikou City, Hainan Province. Helping Hainan in epidemic prevention and control.
Chief Financial Officer Suh Qiu-bin briefed on the implementation of funds and the collection of dues from July to August 2022.
Wen Yaoli, secretary general of the Board of Supervisors, was entrusted by Weng Hua, the chief supervisor, to express supervision opinions. She praised the meeting for its efficiency and orderliness, as well as the active participation and performance of the board members. She said that the work of the Board of Supervisors in this year will be based on harmonious development, focusing on the big while letting the small go, closely surrounding the annual work plan of the board of Directors to do a good job of communication and coordination, jointly create a good atmosphere for the healthy and stable development of China Shenzhen Lions Club, and promote the timely resolution of contradictions and problems as soon as possible, so as not to be offside, not to be absent, not to be in a good position.
