In recent years, the building of consultative democracy among social organizations has continued to advance. The third distribution of philanthropy has continued to play a role in the economic sector. The social influence of various charitable projects, public welfare actions, industry standards, and industry reports has increased year by year. The development of the society has provided a constantly optimized growth environment for social organizations, and the Domestic Lions Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) has gradually become an important force in the development of domestic public welfare undertakings. In the past 17 years, all members of the Association have invested more than 1.5 billion yuan in public welfare voluntary services, which has been widely recognized by the relevant official departments and all sectors of society. The association has accumulated certain credibility and reputation, and won the 11th “China Charity Award”.
In April 2021, the Administration of Social Organizations of the Ministry of Civil Affairs issued Notice on Further Strengthening the Management of Social Organizations and Strictly Regulating the Behaviors of Social Organizations (Civil Social Administration Letter (2021) No. 43). If national social organizations are to fulfill their principal responsibilities and hold lectures, forums, forums, annual meetings, reports and seminars, they must strictly abide by Party discipline and state laws and regulations, adhere to the correct political direction, public opinion and value orientation, and ensure that the content of their activities is healthy, the value orientation is correct, the positive effects are prominent, and the activities are recognized by the society. We must strictly review the content of the activities, focus on the important links of the activities, strictly observe the discipline of publicity and reporting, and ensure that we are responsible for maintaining the soil, taking responsibility for maintaining the soil, and doing our duty to maintain the soil, so as not to provide channels and platforms for the dissemination of erroneous ideas and undesirable culture.
In order to implement the relevant requirements of the document, adhere to the core values of civilization and harmony, and strive to improve the credibility and reputation of the Federation, the relevant requirements are hereby notified as follows:
First, raise our political stance, further strengthen the “four consciousness”, “four confidence”, and “two maintenance”, further strengthen the awareness of abiding by discipline and law, strictly regulate behavior, adhere to the socialist core values of civilization, harmony and other guiding cultural development, strive to create a good atmosphere for the successful holding of the Party’s 20 National Congress, and make positive contributions to a good start on the new journey.
2. Jointly resist acts that disturb the national economic and social order, oppose all pyramid schemes planned and organized under various names such as “full return of consumption”, “business alliance”, “financial mutual assistance”, “love and charity”, “virtual currency”, “e-commerce”, “wechat marketing”, and all acts that seriously infringe upon the safety of people’s property. Any economic or employment relationship between members, such as business cooperation, lending, crowd-funding, etc., is personal behavior, and is not allowed to conduct social publicity in the name of organizations at all levels and members of the Association.
Iii. It is strictly prohibited to set up vulgar, outrageous, eye-catching and other undesirable cultural links in all kinds of meetings and activities, such as the meeting of the new administration, the meeting of the nomination, the signing ceremony of the service project, etc., serious meeting style and style of writing, to show the positive, civilized and harmonious values and healthy voluntary service style; Oppose all vulgar customs and feudal superstitions, and avoid immoral, illegal or even illegal behaviors.
Iv. It is strictly prohibited to post any bad information that is inconsistent with social morality, public order and good customs, or any content that is inconsistent with political awareness, overall situation awareness, core awareness and alignment awareness in the name of the members of the Association on network groups or social media. It is strictly prohibited to study and abide by the relevant provisions of the Network Security Law of the People’s Republic of China.
Credibility is the key to the development of charitable organizations. Adhering to the core values of civilization and harmony is the only way to improve the credibility and reputation of the Association. We invite all members to adhere to the original aspiration of public welfare, cultivate morality and integrity, and form an “ethically driven self-discipline”. Together, we will uphold the achievements of the Association’s 17 years of voluntary services devoted to people’s well-being, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the Association.
