Recently, the new variant strain BF.7 was detected for the first time in Shenzhen, China, and spread faster than BA.5, with stronger infectivity and shorter intergenerational interval, which is easy to cause large-scale spread.
In the face of the severe and complex situation of epidemic prevention and control, in accordance with the requirements of the headquarters for the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus pneumonia in Shenzhen, combined with the actual situation of the Lions Club, the Lions Club in Shenzhen will strictly prevent and control the risk of epidemic prevention and control, and ensure the life safety of all lions. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
First, raise the political position
All Lions should further enhance their political stance, strengthen their responsibility, understand the current situation of epidemic prevention and control, and further enhance their awareness of the overall situation and safety. All regions, sub-districts, special committees and service teams should take the initiative to prevent and control the epidemic in strict accordance with the principle of “reducing the flow of people, reducing the gathering of people and strengthening personal protection”, and voluntarily accept the prevention and control management of the epidemic in geographical areas.
2. Strictly control gathering activities
Strictly control gathering activities during the epidemic period, and do not initiate them in the name of domestic Shenzhen Lions Club.
In accordance with the principle of “whoever hosts and is responsible”, the person in charge of the service team or special committee that organizes meetings and activities is the first person responsible for epidemic prevention and control.
All kinds of personnel gathering activities such as fellowship, dinner, training, discussion and seminar will be cancelled, and online communication and other methods will be advocated. In principle, all offline service activities shall be suspended. If necessary, the person in charge of the activity shall formulate epidemic prevention and control work plans and emergency plans, and submit them to the epidemic prevention and control command department and competent business unit for approval as required. The activity can only be held after the approval is obtained, and all emergency plans shall be strictly implemented during the activity.
3. Keep in mind three things about epidemic prevention
Keep in mind the three things for epidemic prevention – take the temperature, light the code and wear a mask;Enhance the awareness of protection and alert against “air septum” infection caused by incorrect wearing of masks; Take other personal protection measures, such as frequent hand-washing, frequent ventilation, separate meals, use serving chopsticks, and maintain “1 meter line” social distancing.
