The Shenzhen Lions Club entered Zhuhai with “first aid at your side”

On August 27, 2022, the 5th “First Aid at Your Side” emergency rescue knowledge and skills popularization and practical operation training activity held by the Emergency Committee of Shenzhen Lions Club 2022-2023 was held on the 6th floor of Holiday Inn Platinum, Zhuhai. This activity was organized by the Shenzhen Lions Club Shanghai Yuntian, Sea Changxin and Sea Joy Service teams. 54 participants participated in the training and successfully completed the training. The training venue is provided free of charge by Brother Chen Zhenghua.
Chairman of Shenzhen Lions Club Sixth Zone Wu Zhijian, Chairman of the 15th Zone Xu Xinxin, Chairman of the Emergency Committee Cui Weiying, Executive Chairmen Lei Dihao, Chen Zheng, Luo Xiaobing, Lai Cuiping, Captain of Marine Cloud Sky Service Team Zhang Litong, Captain of Marine Long Letter Service Team Yu Yanxia, Captain of Marine Long Letter Service Team Ma Tianmu, Captain of Marine Joy Service Team Guo Tao, former captain of Bougainvillea Service Team Guo Tong, More than 70 people participated in the activity, including Sea Clouds, Sea Changxin and Sea Joy service team Lion Friends. The event was chaired by Liu Lin and presided over by Lai Cuiping.
A simple but solemn ceremony was held before the start of the training. Liu Lin, executive chairman of the Emergency Committee, was given a flag and teaching AIDS. Chairman Cui Weiying delivered a speech to the LionsThe social significance of “first aid around” encourages all the lion friends to achieve “everyone learns first aid, everyone knows first aid and everyone dares first aid” through this training, and makes contributions to improving the level of social emergency first aid. Chairman Hui Xinyan and Chairman Ng Chi-kin respectively expressed their appreciation and support for the “First Aid by Your Side” campaign.
Subsequently, the first “First Aid by Your Side” emergency rescue knowledge and skills popularization and practical training activities of the emergency rescue Committee of Shenzhen Lions Club officially started in Zhuhai. The training and coaching team includes: lecturing instructor Lei HD, coaches Cui Weiying, Lai Cuiping, Luo Xiaobing, Wu Zhijian, Song Xuemei, Su Zhenlin, Huang Xiaoxia, Chen Zheng (concurrently photography), as well as the appointment of Guo Tong, former captain of Dujuan, as an assistant to the event.
In the morning session, the instructor gave a lecture on the basic theory of first aid, trauma rescue techniques, home rescue (including burns, bee stings, pet bites, snake bites, electric burns, the use of iodavor sticks, etc.) and the “Heimlich Treatment” for airway foreign body infarction. He gave a detailed and vivid lecture. Coaches Cui Weiying, Lai Cuiping, Luo Xiaobing, Wu Zhijian, Song Xuemei, Su Zhenlin, Huang Xiaoxia and Chen Zheng cooperated and guided the students to carry out various practical exercises: spiral bandaging, head bandaging with triangle scarf, arm suspension belt, upper limb hemostatic bandaging, airway foreign body infarction first aid and so on. The Lion students listened carefully and asked questions actively. After many practical exercises, they mastered various professional first-aid knowledge.
In the afternoon course, instructor Lei HD continued to lecture the important “cardiopulmonary resuscitation technology” course. Lei HD first explained each step and movement in detail, and the instructor assisted the demonstration on stage. The students practiced repeatedly in groups under the guidance of each instructor to ensure that each student mastered the key points of each movement. Students actively participate in the practice, the learning atmosphere is enthusiastic and warm.
In the practice exam, the coaches acted as examiners, and the students were grouped into groups for the practice exam. Finally, the theoretical written test was conducted, and 54 students successfully passed the exam and obtained the completion certificate.
After the event, Zhang Yunyuan, the captain of the Shenzhen Lions Club, organized the Lions to hold a short and grand send-off ceremony.
The event was successfully held with the active participation of the three service teams and the great support of the coaching team. The coaching team was formed within a few hours of the event being announced. On the afternoon of 26th, the coach team drove more than 150 kilometers to Zhuhai loaded with teaching AIDS and materials.
President Liu Lin said that in the future, the service team will strengthen the training in regular meetings and activities, to promote the “First aid around” activity.
