Therefore, an activity to visit the mother of Xiang Chunmei, the first cornea donor in Shenzhen, with “love in return and gratitude”, was carried out in many places in Shenzhen, Hubei and Guizhou to contact Xiang Chunmei’s mother and find the beneficiaries.
From Xiang Chunmei’s schoolmate in Tianmen, she learned that her mother, Wang Lanying, had moved from Tianmen to Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County in Yichang, Hubei Province. The old man suffered from cataracts in recent years and needed surgery to restore his vision.
