On July 20, 2022, the 10th Board of Supervisors Meeting of Shenzhen Lions Club 2021-2022 was held at Nanyang Changsheng Hotel, OCT Nanshan District. A total of 22 people attended the meeting, including Tian Xingxing, chief supervisor of Shenzhen Lions Club, Deng Yi, deputy chief supervisor, Zhou Zhihui, Secretary general of the Board of Supervisors, Tang Haozhi, Zhu Feng, Li Chunping, Du Peng, Wang Haiyan, Yu Hui, Wu Zhijian, Huang Shaofang, Zhang Zheqin, Wang Xuebo, and supervisors Lei Shengzhu, Wang Baocai, Yu Wanqun, Chen Xiaoxue, Xian Huimei, Huang Lisheng, Li Xuegang, Wu Yuqiong and Zhang Zhining. Zheng Degang, Vice President of Lions Association of China, Lu Zhiqiang, former president of Lions Association of Shenzhen, Nie Xiangdong, second vice president and Xiao Xingping, former president of Lions Association of Shenzhen attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhou Zhihui.
Tian Xingxing, chief supervisor, will deliver the 2021-2022 work report of the Board of Supervisors, which will elaborate on the work of the board of supervisors, self-construction, problems and suggestions found in the performance of duties, etc. In this year, with the joint efforts of all members of the Board of Supervisors, the Board of Supervisors has steadily promoted various work, continuously improved the ability to perform duties, optimized the supervision mode, and strengthened the sense of service, and successfully completed the annual work tasks.
In order to promote the healthy development of the organization in a better and more comprehensive way, further improve the supervision mechanism and improve the supervision efficiency, the Board of Supervisors put forward three suggestions: first, actively explore the “one-one-three mechanism” from three aspects: the ideological guidance of the party branch, the implementation of the Board of Directors’ meeting affairs and the lion’s work supervision of the board of supervisors; Second, through the improvement of the system, the board of supervisors is endowed with greater independence and the right to actively perform the supervisory duties; Third, it is hoped that in the New Year, the Board of Supervisors will commission a professional research institution to carry out a satisfaction survey on members, so as to further understand the trend of members’ public opinion and promote the management team to be more directional in the actual work.
The work of the Board of Supervisors over the past year is the result of our joint efforts. In recognition of the excellence, the Chief supervisor of Tian Xingxing presented awards to the supervisors and supervisors who made outstanding contributions in the past year, to Deng Yi awarded Outstanding Deputy Chief Supervisor Award, to Zhou Zhihui awarded Outstanding Secretary-General Award, to Wang Haiyan, Yu Hui, Wu Zhijian awarded Outstanding Supervisors Award; Tang Haozhi, Zhu Feng, Li Chunping, Du Peng, Huang Shaofang, Zhang Zheqin and Wang Xubo were awarded the Award of Outstanding Supervisor, and Rong Jing and Wu Yuqiong were awarded the award of Outstanding Supervisor. Awards were presented to Lei Shengzhu, Wang Baocai, Yu Wanqun, Chen Xiaoxue, Zheng Weiping, Xian Huimei, Huang Lisheng, Li Xuegang, Lu Wenhao and Zhang Zhining.
Zheng Degang shared the excellent supervision practices of the Board of Supervisors of the Federation, and stressed the importance of prior supervision. He hoped that the Shenzhen Lions Club could implement prior supervision through improving the system, solve problems in the bud in advance, and resolve conflicts in time. It is also hoped that the Board and supervisors can strengthen communication and coordination, unite as one and give full play to their wisdom to ensure the smooth implementation and effective promotion of the one-year work plan of the Shenzhen Lions Club and work together to do a good job.
Xiao Xingping, former president of the Board of Supervisors, gave full affirmation to the performance of the Board of Supervisors this year. He believed that the annual work report of the Board of Supervisors was comprehensive and objective, and effectively pointed out the existing problems and deficiencies in the actual operation of the Shenzhen Lions Club, providing a problem-oriented thinking mode for the development of the Shenzhen Lions Club. She believes that the Shenzhen Lions Club should actively explore the “one one two mechanism”, improve the rules and regulations from a long-term perspective, and fundamentally improve and perfect the supervision mechanism, so as to better deal with the relationship between the board of directors and the Board of supervisors. At the same time, Xiao Xingping expressed concern and expectation for the 20th anniversary series of activities, hoping that through the series of activities, all members will be inspired to “start again” new power.
Lu Zhiqiang, the previous president, pointed out that there are still some deficiencies in the current operation of the Lions Club. He believes that we should view the relationship between the board of Directors and the Board of supervisors from the perspective of long-term development, and actively explore ways to deal with problems. We should not only improve the rules and regulations, but also encourage everyone to “serve as the foundation” and insist on “starting from the heart”, so as to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the organization. He hoped that the 20th anniversary of the Shenzhen Lions Club would be an opportunity for the club to establish a good image among Shenzhen citizens and Lions in the 14 districts of the country, thus bringing new vitality to the club.
Nie Xiangdong, the second Vice president of the Board of Supervisors, thanked the annual work report of the Board of Supervisors for the correction of relevant issues. He hoped that everyone could face up to the existing problems in the development of the organization and promote the healthy development of the organization. He said that due to the epidemic and other reasons, the activities of the 20th anniversary have not been carried out on time, but relevant preparations have been made and the printing of the commemorative album and anthology will be completed as scheduled.
Deng Yi, Deputy Chief Supervisor, Zhou Zhihui, Secretary General, and Tang Haozhi, Li Chunping, Wang Haiyan, Wu Zhijian and other supervisors shared their insights on the supervision work in the past year. Under the leadership of Chief Supervisor Tian Xingxing, they continuously deepened their understanding of the work of the Board of Supervisors through learning, and firmly moved forward in the actual work based on their own duties, hoping that the Board of Supervisors could play its functions more effectively. We will continue to promote the healthy development of the organization.
Mr. Neptune highly commended all the supervisors and supervisors for their efforts and efforts, and thanked everyone for working together in the past year.
