Recently, “the 6th Domestic Ice and Snow Sports Season for the Disabled” Shenzhen Station of the National Deaf Association activity opened in Shenzhen window of the world “Alpine Ice and Snow World”.
The event was organized by the China Disabled Persons’ Federation and organized by the China Deaf Association, Shenzhen Disabled Persons’ Federation and Shenzhen Lions Club. Chen Haixin said that with the successful hosting of the Beijing Winter Olympics, ice and snow sports have emerged. The ice and snow sports season for disabled people in China has been held for the sixth time. More and more disabled people come to professional venues to experience such activities, which is very meaningful.

It is reported that, considering the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, this activity will be conducted in batches, with a total number of 260 participants. On June 30, more than 40 families, more than 80 deaf children and their parents experienced ice and snow sports. About 30 members of Lions Clubs, Deaf Associations and volunteer groups participated in the service.
The day’s activities were mainly about skating experience. Under the guidance of professional ice skating coaches and accompanied by their parents, the hearing-impaired children experienced the charm of skating nervously and excitedly. The more timid children sat on the ice rink specially provided for them to “little dolphins”, pushing each other slide, young laughter one after another. The children’s favorite, of course, is the hippie snow, in the fairy tale world of the same hippie snow area, looking at the artificial snow flying in the overhead, the children excited to scream, some to pile small snow people, some began to have a snowball fight, some a trip and a trip to drag the tires to the ski road to play a stimulating “ski pry”……

It is reported that for five consecutive years, Shenzhen Deaf Association has co-organized the southern branch of the “Ice and Snow Sports Season for the Disabled”. As public welfare partners of Shenzhen Deaf Association, Shenzhen Lions Club and other units have also provided materials and services for the activity for three consecutive years. The five sessions organized more than 1,600 hearing impaired people in Shenzhen to participate in ice and snow activities, contributing to the realization of “300 million people participating in ice and snow sports”.
