On April 14, 2022, Li Lun, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shenzhen Disabled Persons’ Federation, and Chen Aping, Deputy Director of the Publicity (rights protection) Department of Shenzhen Disabled Persons’ Federation visited the Shenzhen Lions Club office to inspect and guide the work of Shenzhen Lions Club. At the meeting, President Guo Yongyong and First Vice President Peng Daojian reported their duties to the leaders of the Municipal Disabled Persons’ Federation and reported the work of the year.
The 2021-2022 President of the Shenzhen Lions Club Guo Yongyong, the first Vice president Peng Daojian, the second vice president Nie Xiangdong, the Secretary General Lai Zhuoni, the Chief financial Officer Xu Qiubin, the Chief secretary Tan Fei, the executive Deputy Secretary Zhao Hui attended the working meeting, which was presided over by Chen Aping.
In his report, Chairman Guo Yongyong gave a detailed introduction of the work of this year up to now and the next step of the work, especially the implementation of the resolutions of the members’ Congress and the Board of Directors. He expressed his gratitude to the Municipal DPF for supporting the construction and development of the Shenzhen Lions Club in an all-round way. The Shenzhen Lions Club will continue to practice the purpose of “helping others and serving the society” and do a good job as the official helper to satisfy the public and reassure the authorities.
Peng Daojian, the first Vice president, reported on the relevant work to assist the president, coordinated the tribute and inauguration ceremony, leading the Lions seminar, team leadership promotion, member training, fund raising for service activities, foreign exchanges, member congress preparation and other work. Next, the New Year charity party will be held after the approval of the Municipal Disabled Persons’ Federation to raise service funds for the next year. Cooperate with the District Council to complete the election of members’ congresses.
Chen Aping, deputy Director of the Publicity (Rights Protection) Department of Shenzhen DPF, conveyed the spirit of the document “Work Plan on Strengthening the Prevention and Resolution of Major Risks in the Construction of Honesty and Compliance of Social Organizations” issued by the Leading Group of Shenzhen Party Conduct and Clean Government Construction, and emphasized 7 aspects of the work plan measures: 1. Improve the political guidance mechanism; 2. Improve the credit supervision mechanism; Third, improve the internal control mechanism; Fourth, improve the external supervision mechanism; 5. Improve the risk screening mechanism; 6. Improve the special governance mechanism; 7. Improve the supervision and enforcement mechanism. It is hoped that the Shenzhen Lions Club will raise its political stance and faithfully implement the spirit of the document.

Li Lun, Vice president of the Shenzhen Lions Club, put forward the following requirements: First, highlight ideological and political guidance, and speak politics clearly. We should always take the Party’s banner as our banner, its direction as our direction, and its will as our will, and ensure steady development of social organizations with domestic characteristics. 2. Intensify the prevention and control of the epidemic. If it is necessary to hold an on-site event, it should be reported to the local epidemic prevention and control command department for approval. Third, strengthen self-development and improve the internal governance system. Fourth, strengthen the main ideological front, adhere to correct public opinion guide members.
